Amana Weldach




Amana kids was established to help eliminate some of the deprivations orphan children face in and around Harar. In 1995 we reached out to five kids. Today, we have reached 21 children ranging from kindergarten to seventh Grade. Their ages range between 3 and 15 with complete gender equality. Amana will add an additional 5 to10 kids annually until the future goal of 500 kids is reached.

Mr. Hashime Idris passed today April 15, 2011. His body is moved to Minlik hospital for autopsy and later today will be taken to Harar for burial. It is tragic and huge loss for the Hararis. Very sad, sorrow and painful day for all of us.
