This letter is to express our heartfelt sympathy and sorrow to the family of Shaheed Hashim Idris, who was assassinated by cold blooded murderers on 13/04/2011.The tragic death of this young man is resonating among the Hararis whom he served with loyalty. And also the tragedy felt similarly by Hararis around the world filled with emotion, anger and frustration. Our community also shares and condemns such criminal act in the strongest term and should not be tolerated. While praying for the family members and expressing our condolences for the loss of innocent life, the Gursum Community in Diaspora request the Government of Harari National State to bring the perpetrators and their cohorts to justice in accordance with the law of the land.
